Ulrika Jonsson Goes Topless on Girls Trip to Greece After Reversing Sun Damage
Ulrika Jonsson Topless in Greece After Sun Damage Reversal

Ulrika Jonsson has posted a topless photo on Instagram while on a girls' trip to Greece, revealing the results of her efforts to reverse years of sun damage and premature ageing. The 58-year-old TV star captured the image in a mirror, using her arm to cover her breasts, showcasing her tan on her arms and stomach. She captioned the post with: "Hot potato."

Greece Holiday and Bikini Collection

In addition to the topless snap, Jonsson shared a picture of a sarong wrapped around her waist and a collection of bikinis—red, peach, and orange—drying on a balcony rack. The Mediterranean getaway highlights her commitment to maintaining her skin after years of sun exposure.

Past Comments on Sun Damage and Skin Care

Jonsson has long been known for her tan, but she has spoken openly about her past habit of "worshipping" the sun and using sunbeds. In You Magazine, she wrote: "As a Nordic child who might only see five to six hours of daylight in winter, I sought out and worshipped the sun whenever I could... I now have a greater respect for my skin. I have not sat in the sun since the day I met [surgeon] Dr Dhillon and I will never use a sunbed again. The miracle is that since I’ve had help with my skin, I’ve been wearing SPF every day – even through winter."

Non-Surgical Treatments and Lifestyle Changes

In March, Jonsson revealed she was battling to reverse years of sun damage that caused her to "age badly." She underwent biostimulators, non-surgical treatments that promote natural collagen growth, and Evolus Dermal Filler, a hyaluronic acid filler for wrinkles and folds. She also quit drinking, describing sobriety as a "spiritual awakening." On the In Recovery Ark House Rehab podcast, she said: "I had a spiritual awakening - really it's just like I was waiting for this my whole life [going sober]. I felt safe after my first meeting. I felt like I belonged there after my first in person meeting. There is so much in the programme that should be taught in schools. I pass on bits to my kids. It completely changed me. It has the ability to change you as a person and it felt like I was waiting for this my whole life. Life will throw stuff at me still but now I deal with it in a completely different way. I went from not wanting to live to now wanting to squeeze every moment out of my life. I missed having some kind of faith. The programme was spiritual for me."
