Tarantino Backs Wife Daniella Pick at Film Premiere

Acclaimed filmmaker Quentin Tarantino made a stylish appearance on Wednesday evening to support his actress wife Daniella Pick at the US premiere of her latest thriller, The Perfect Gamble. The Hollywood legend joined Pick on the red carpet at Los Angeles' Sunset Boulevard venue Harmony Gold for the first official American screening of the film.

A Glamorous Hollywood Night

The 62-year-old director demonstrated his affection for his wife shortly after arriving at the cinema complex, wrapping his arms around the Israeli actress in a warm embrace. Pick, 41, looked stunning in a backless red evening gown as she promoted her new film venture alongside her famous husband.

The couple were joined by the film's principal cast and director Danny Abeckaser, creating a celebratory atmosphere at the prestigious event. The Perfect Gamble features Pick starring alongside Abeckaser, David Arquette, and Eli Danker in a thriller that was filmed across locations in Israel and Georgia.

From First Meeting to Family Life

The couple's romance began in 2009 when Tarantino was promoting his World War II film Inglourious Basterds in Israel. Their relationship blossomed over the years, culminating in marriage nine years later at the director's Beverly Hills home.

The Tarantino-Pick family has since expanded to include two children. They share a five-year-old son named Leo and a two-year-old daughter whose name remains private. The birth of their daughter was confirmed in July 2022 through a statement to PEOPLE magazine, announcing the arrival of "a little sister to Leo, their first child."

Tarantino previously addressed speculation about their son's name on Jimmy Kimmel Live, clarifying that Leo was named after Pick's grandfather rather than his frequent collaborator Leonardo DiCaprio. "We almost didn't name him that because people would assume I named him after Leonardo DiCaprio," Tarantino admitted. "He's named after my wife's grandfather, but also because, just in our hearts, he was our little lion."

Tarantino's Future Film Projects

While supporting his wife's career, Tarantino continues to contemplate his own cinematic future. The director has previously hinted at retiring after his tenth film, though he admitted at the 2022 Rome Film Festival that he has "no idea" what that project might be.

When questioned about potentially making a sequel to Kill Bill, the director responded coyly with "Why not?" Tarantino also revealed interest in exploring comedy and described an unspecified Spaghetti Western project he's planning, though he clarified this might not be his next film.

Speaking at the Sundance Film Festival in January, Tarantino explained he's in no rush to begin his final project. "I'm in no hurry to actually jump into production," he told film critic Elvis Mitchell. "I've been doing that for 30 years. Next month my son turns five, and I have a two-and-a-half-year-old daughter."

The director also shared insights into balancing his professional and personal life, noting that "When I'm in America, I'm writing. When I'm in Israel I'm an abba, which is Hebrew for father." This approach demonstrates his commitment to both his artistic legacy and his growing family.
