American-born British actor Arty Froushan has joined the cast of Downton Abbey: The Grand Finale, the third film in the period drama franchise. He will portray legendary playwright and composer Noel Coward, according to reports.
Froushan is known for roles in Prime Video's Carnival Row, House of the Dragon, Daredevil: Born Again, Strikeback, and Knightfall. His film credits include H is for Hawk, Circadia, and The Persian Version.
The film, which premieres on 12 September, follows Lady Mary (Michelle Dockery) as she navigates life post-divorce from Henry Talbot and becomes the new owner of Downton Abbey after her father Lord Robert Grantham (Hugh Bonneville) passes the estate to her.
Other newcomers include Alessandro Nivola as American financier Gus Sambrook, Sarah Crowden as Lady Manville, Lisa Dillon as Princess Arthur, Simon Russell Beale as Sir Hector Moreland, and Joely Richardson as Lady Petersfield. Michael Fox, who plays Andrew 'Andy' Parker, returns alongside a large ensemble cast.
