Max Greenfield, star of Netflix's 'Running Point', has landed another comedy role on the streaming platform. The 46-year-old actor will appear in the upcoming film 'Don't Say Good Luck', alongside Sunny Sandler, daughter of Hollywood comedy legend Adam Sandler.
The coming-of-age story follows Sophie Birenbaum, played by Sunny Sandler, as she prepares for the lead in her high school musical. However, her excitement is overshadowed by her mother's cancer returning. Greenfield is expected to play Sophie's father.
'Don't Say Good Luck' boasts an impressive ensemble cast, including Melanie Lynskey ('Yellowjackets'), Steve Buscemi ('Reservoir Dogs'), Stephanie Beatriz ('Brooklyn Nine Nine'), Jon Lovitz ('Saturday Night Live'), and Jack Champion ('Avatar'). Adam Sandler serves as an executive producer.
The film is set to premiere on Netflix on Friday, August 14. Greenfield also has a role in the upcoming fourth season of HBO's 'The White Lotus', playing a character named Mitchell. Filming for that series is currently underway in France.
