Katie Price's younger sister, Sophie, has criticized Lee Andrews' new hairstyle after his release from a Dubai prison, where inmates typically have their heads shaved. Lee emerged with a full head of hair, sparking backlash from Sophie.
Sophie's Reaction to Lee's New Look
In a teaser for the upcoming episode of The Katie Price Show podcast, Sophie expressed her displeasure, saying, "No, it's not my vibe." Katie added, "No, but not everyone can pull off short hair." Sophie retorted, "Ridiculous, f***ing liberty."
Lee's Imprisonment and Release
Lee was recently released from Dubai's Al-Awir prison, where he was held due to unpaid debts. He had gone missing last month, leading Katie to fear he was kidnapped. After his release, he posted a video on Instagram claiming he wasn't jailed for fraud. He now has 14 days to raise £69,000 or face reimprisonment.
Lee's Claims of Kidnapping
In his first video since release, Lee claimed he was taken at gunpoint near the Qatar-Omani border and held by armed men. However, Qatar and Oman do not share a border. He alleged he was slapped, hand-tied, and hooded, but signed disclaimers with state security preventing further details.
Details of Lee's Debts
Lee's debts include 266,000 Dirhams (£54,000) to a car rental company, Rotanna Star, from 2022, and 74,817.50 Dirhams (£15,000) to a UAE law firm for unpaid fees. He must inform the Dubai CID but is not considered an actively wanted man.
Legal Proceedings and Katie's Role
Lee's representatives petitioned for his release to access bank accounts to pay debts. Katie did not contribute to his release despite flying to Dubai. While incarcerated, Katie confirmed Lee had a travel ban preventing him from leaving the UAE, contrary to his denials.
