The acclaimed West End production of Jesus Christ Superstar, featuring pop star Sam Ryder in the title role, has announced a major UK tour beginning in Manchester in February 2027. Tickets for the tour go on general sale today, June 24, 2026, at 10am.
Tour Details and Cast
The tour will span 22 cities over seven months, from February to October 2027. Sam Ryder, who has received critical acclaim for his portrayal of Jesus Christ at the London Palladium, will reprise the role. The rest of the cast has yet to be announced. The production features music by Andrew Lloyd Webber and lyrics by Tim Rice, directed by Tim Sheader with choreography by Drew McOnie.
Manchester Launch and Ticket Information
The tour kicks off at Manchester's Palace Theatre on Thursday, February 11, 2027, running through Saturday, February 27, 2027. Tickets are available from ATG Tickets, the official retailer, with prices starting from £40. The current London run at the Palladium continues until September 5, 2026, followed by a residency at the Theatre Royal Drury Lane from October 16, 2026, to January 9, 2027.
