Arsenal 2026/27 Home Kit Launched with Maroon Stripes and Lightning Bolts
Arsenal 2026/27 Home Kit Unveiled with Bold New Design

Arsenal have officially launched their 2026/27 home kit ahead of the Champions League final, unveiling a new Adidas jersey that introduces maroon stripes and lightning bolt details to the traditional red and white design. The Gunners are poised to win their first Premier League title in 22 years and have reached their first Champions League final since 2006.

Design Changes

The new kit marks a significant departure from recent seasons. In 2024/25, the home kit featured blue accents, while 2023/24 had gold shoulder stripes and 2022/23 included navy. This season, neither blue nor gold appears. Instead, the iconic Adidas three stripes on the shoulders see the central stripe in classic Arsenal red, with the outer stripes in a maroon shade, a deeper tone of red.

The last time maroon featured prominently was in the 2009/10 season, when Cesc Fabregas captained the side. That kit used the darker red as a border between red and white on the sleeves and torso. The new design uses maroon more subtly.

Collar and Lightning Bolts

The collar is a crewneck, consistent with the 2025/26 design, but introduces a lightning bolt motif in both the classic red and deeper red. Lightning bolts, a hallmark of iconic 1990s away kits, have reappeared in recent designs, including the 2025/26 away kit and the 2023/24 home kit.

Availability and Pricing

The Arsenal 2026/27 Home Kit is available now at Fanatics, with replica and authentic versions priced from £85 for adult shirts and £55 for children's. It is also available at Kitbag and the official Arsenal Store.

Fan Reactions

Fans have shared mixed reactions on social media. One supporter wrote: "I really love this. This is the hottest kit out of Europe right now." Another added: "This kit is actually so nice." However, some were less enthusiastic, with one commenting: "Red socks again is pretty disappointing." Another fan mused: "Imagine this kit with the gold Premier League champions badge."

Arsenal are not expected to wear the new kit for the Champions League final. Away and third kits have been leaked but will be officially unveiled during pre-season.
