Netflix has added the 1988 comedy 'Twins', starring Arnold Schwarzenegger and Danny DeVito, to its streaming library. The film, directed by Ivan Reitman, follows fraternal twin brothers Julius and Vincent, who were separated at birth as part of an experiment to engineer the perfect human.
Despite a modest 43 percent rating on Rotten Tomatoes, 'Twins' has become a cult favourite, praised for the chemistry between its leads and its absurd storyline. The film was a surprise box office hit in the 1980s.
Fans have taken to IMDb and Letterboxd to praise the film, with one calling it a 'fantastic film that you can watch over and over' and another describing it as a 'comedic masterwork'. The long-awaited sequel 'Triplets', which was to feature Eddie Murphy, was abandoned after Reitman's death.
'Twins' is now available to stream on Netflix in the UK.
