Another said: "It was like one of those mortar fireworks going off right next to your house."

The documentary showcases heartbreaking calls to emergency services. One caller said: "Something literally just exploded." Another asked: "What just happened?" A third reported: "We had a large boom, I don't know if it was a bomb, a gun went off or what." A dispatcher relayed: "We've had an explosion at a house, we're going to need medics, IFD, it's going to be a major incident control."
Insurance Scam Plot
Investigators found that Shirley, her boyfriend Mark Leonard, and his brother had plotted to start a fire for an insurance payout. The plan resulted in a massive gas explosion that devastated the tight-knit community. The episode features interviews with neighbors and details the aftermath.
