The second of three World Cup opening ceremonies takes place tonight, with a host of major stars performing before Canada faces Bosnia and Herzegovina in their opening match.

Who Will Perform?

Music fans at Toronto Stadium and watching at home can expect a long list of superstars, including several Canadian icons. Among the homegrown talent is Alanis Morissette, known for 'Ironic,' and heartthrob crooner Michael Bublé, making a rare non-festive appearance on UK screens. They are joined by fellow Canadians Alessia Cara, Jessie Reyez, and country singer William Prince.

Also performing are EDM star Sanjoy, Arabic pop sensation Elyanna, Nora Fatehi, and Vegedream.

What Time Does the Ceremony Start?

Proceedings at Toronto Stadium (BMO Field) begin at 6:30 PM for British viewers (1:30 PM local time). The ceremony runs for just under 90 minutes, with Canada's opening fixture against Bosnia and Herzegovina kicking off at 8 PM UK time (3 PM in Canada). Fans are advised to arrive up to four hours early.

Canada vs. Bosnia and Herzegovina is broadcast live on BBC One, with coverage hosted by Gabby Logan starting at 7 PM.
