Vogue Williams has teased the "unusual" name she has chosen for baby number four, revealing that her husband Spencer Matthews vetoed her initial suggestion of Sailor.
Name vetoed by Spencer
During an appearance on Heart Breakfast, Vogue told co-host Jamie Theakston: "I loved Sailor. That was vetoed. Not allowed to have it because the song 'a sailor went to...'" Jamie responded: "Well, that's not the worst. That's not the reason why it's a bad idea. It's got to be a name not an occupation," but then Vogue revealed: "Rocket. I loved Rocket!"
Still not convinced, Jamie said: "Again, that's not a name that's a vehicle," and Vogue replied: "But think about what you'd want to be called. I'd love to be called Rocket. And from people closest to me, I'd say call me Rocks."
More name revelations
Jamie admitted that he wanted to be called Darren when he was younger, and Vogue reminded him that she herself was named after the famous fashion magazine. She said: "I was called Vogue. Imagine how that felt!"
Her admission comes just days after Spencer admitted he would love to have five children, although Vogue has since revealed she doesn't feel the same. He told Closer magazine: "I like the sound of baby number five. Vogue's Irish, you see. It won't be too long before she wants a fifth, I'm sure of it. I can't wait!"
No baby number five
However, while discussing baby names suggested by listeners on her podcast My Therapist Ghosted Me, one person joked she could "save the crazy names for baby five". Replying to the comment, she said: "There is no baby number five - no, no. I can't... even people are like, 'Oh congrats', like looking at me like I'm a complete weirdo having a fourth child, they're like, 'Jesus Christ, give it a rest would you?' So no, there won't be any baby number five because I don't think I'd be up for it."
In a more recent episode, Vogue told listeners that the name the couple have chosen for their fourth child is "mad". She revealed: "The name we've chosen is f***ed, it's mad. Joanne [McNally, podcast co-host] flinched at the name and it made me go, 'Oh?'"
Joanne replied: "Yes, I did. I mean, it's a big name. Like, at the time, Theodore was a heavy hitter, and I know you like a crazy name. I like names too, I like naming shows but you like naming babies. I will admit I was a bit taken aback."
