Vogue Williams has shared a candid update on family life after welcoming her fourth child with Spencer Matthews, revealing she would like more children but accepts that "you can't have everything."
The couple's baby, Remy Valentine, arrived last month, and Williams says he "comes everywhere" with her. However, she has grown weary of one piece of advice she repeatedly receives from others.
Advice frustration and family expansion
Speaking on the My Therapist Ghosted Me podcast with friend and Celebrity Traitors star Joanne McNally, Williams said people constantly tell her to "enjoy him" while repeating that "the days are long, but the years are short."
She urged people to "stop saying that to every new mother" when they are "completely wrecked," adding: "Can we come up with something new, please?"
Despite the frustration, Williams has not lost her enthusiasm for motherhood. Her family now includes Theodore, Gigi, and Otto, alongside newborn Remy.
Desire for more children
On The Vogue and Amber podcast, Williams was asked what her younger self would find most surprising about her life today. She said: "That you've got four kids - and I want another one."
She clarified: "I love kids. I do. I do. I won't... I'm not going to have another one, don't worry. I'm giving everything away. But that doesn't mean I don't want another one."
"I just can't have another one. You can't have everything that you want, unfortunately, in this life. Because if I could, I'd have three more. How about that? Three more."
Naming change and criticism
The couple were reportedly set on the name Elvis for baby Remy but changed course after calls from Spencer's family, with Williams admitting she was never fully sold on it.
Williams was also left stunned by criticism after taking her newborn out soon after giving birth, with somebody accusing her of "breaking maternity laws." Recalling the incident on My Therapist Ghosted Me, she said a stranger had "left a comment."
"Someone left a comment on my and Amber's pod, and they were like: 'A mother should not be out with their baby at all from a month old', blah blah blah. Like, going on this rant about there being a maternity law," she said.
"I was like, there's no maternity law! And then I was like: 'Hang on a second, I'm quite clearly in my bedroom with the baby as well.' Anyway, I told her I agreed with her and that women should stay at home for at least one to two years with the baby after giving birth. She deleted the comment."
