Vogue Williams Calls Spencer Matthews 'Stupid Liar' in Playful Row
Vogue Williams Brands Spencer Matthews 'Stupid Liar'

Vogue Williams branded her husband Spencer Matthews a 'stupid liar' during a jovial argument, exclaiming 'imagine living with him'. The Irish podcast queen met former Made in Chelsea star Spencer while filming The Jump in 2017. Their relationship blossomed, and they tied the knot at Spencer's family estate in Scotland. The couple now shares three children—Theodore, Otto, and Gigi—with a fourth on the way.

The Playful YouTube Spat

The loved-up couple regularly offers insights into their lives on social media. This included a recent lighthearted row on Vogue's What Does She Even Do? YouTube channel. As they filmed together, Vogue playfully ribbed Spencer, calling his Untapped YouTube vlog 's***e'. The endurance athlete countered by pointing out he has more followers, saying, 'It's not s***e, I have more subscribers than you by miles.'

This prompted Vogue, 40, to note that her husband had 'been on it a year longer'. Spencer replied, 'What are you talking about, mine's not even a year old.' Vogue then branded the reality star 'full of s**t' before ringing the couple's assistant to clarify who started blogging first. After learning Spencer launched his YouTube channel a year and four months ago, Vogue yelled, 'You stupid liar Spencer.'

Clarifying the Timeline

After discovering Vogue started her own channel in January, Spencer responded, 'Great, and mine's a year, exactly.' His wife pointed out that January 2025 was 'a year and four months'. Spencer insisted, 'No, it's a year less than four months. So it's less than a year, so I'm right.' After clarifying the error, Vogue turned to viewers and said, 'Imagine living with him.' She added, 'So everyone, Spenny was wrong there, glad you saw it first hand. He is a lying turd.'

Reflections on Their Relationship

Despite their current happiness, Vogue admits she would have 'swiped past' Spencer if they met on a dating app. She says she 'didn't fancy' him and believed he 'wasn't for her'. However, her friends 'really wanted me to sleep with Spencer' and thought he would fit in with their circle. Addressing this on her Vogue and Amber podcast, Vogue remarked, 'You're just judging someone completely on the way they look. And I always say this, Spencer is obviously gorgeous, but he wouldn't have been my type when we met. And I would have swiped past him on a dating app. And then we met, and we were mad about each other because we just loved each other's personalities. So, I think trying to meet somebody in real life, although it can be hard, can be a really amazing thing.'
