Victoria Beckham looked emotional as she closed her Paris Fashion Week show, with husband David watching from the front row. The event at Conciergerie also saw sons Cruz and Romeo attend with their girlfriends Jackie Apostel and Kim Turnbull, who - along with the Beckhams' daughter Harper - wore Victoria's label.

Brooklyn and Nicola in Paris

The Beckhams are in Paris to mark the former Spice Girl's latest fashion collection, with estranged son Brooklyn and his wife Nicola Peltz also in the city. Sources told The Mirror that the couple's decision to visit the capital at this time is "cruel".

"For a couple who have made clear they want distance from the Beckham family machine, Brooklyn and Nicola could hardly have chosen a more conspicuous week to be in Paris. It feels bordering on cruel to be swanning around the city knowing how important this day is for Victoria," a source told The Mirror.

David's subtle gesture

It comes after David appeared to have made another subtle gesture towards his estranged son. The couple were spotted attending the MESSIKA show on Thursday night, where they posed for photographs and watched the catwalk from the front row.

And David, 51, appeared to show his support from afar after liking an Instagram post documenting Brooklyn and Nicola's appearance. The post, shared by photographer Yehiel Chekroune, included footage of Nicola speaking about the designers alongside images of the couple at the event. David's interaction with the post was quickly noticed by fans, with one commenting: "David liked this. He loves his kids. Everything's going to be okay."

Ongoing family rift

The social media gesture comes amid an ongoing family rift which has seen Brooklyn largely absent from Beckham family occasions. The star said that he had been silent for "years" and made "every effort" to keep his feud private. However, he also claimed that his parents, Lady Victoria and Sir David, had attempted to "ruin" his relationship with billionaire Nicola.

The social media content creator also claimed that Victoria had danced very inappropriately on him at his wedding in 2022 and had also allegedly "hijacked" his first dance with Nicola. 500 guests had witnessed the alleged awkward moment.

In part of his statement, addressing the rift, Brooklyn said: "I have been silent for years and made every effort to keep these matters private. Unfortunately, my parents and their team have continued to go to the press, leaving me with no choice but to speak for myself and tell the truth about only some of the lies that have been printed."
