Vicky Pattison Breaks Down in Tears During First TV Appearance Since Strictly Exit

Vicky Pattison was left in tears during her first television appearance since being eliminated from Strictly Come Dancing. The former reality star and her professional partner Kai Widdrington became the seventh couple to leave the competition after losing the dance-off to EastEnders actress Balvinder Sopal and Julian Caillon.

Appearing on the Strictly spin-off It Takes Two on Tuesday (November 19), Pattison became emotional while watching a highlight reel of her time on the show. 'I'll never be able to put into words what Strictly meant to me,' she told host Janette Manrara, reaching for tissues.

Pattison, who missed Monday's episode due to her birthday, reflected on her journey, saying: 'It's been an absolute joy from start to finish. The Tango was absolutely incredible.' She also revealed that fellow contestant Angela Scanlon had gifted her a large print of her and Kai performing the dance, which caused her to burst into tears.

Kai Widdrington admitted that the couple had not expected to be in the dance-off. 'It was tough because we sort of weren't expecting it. We were kind of hoping we'd get through as much as we could,' he said.

During the interview, Manrara surprised Pattison with a video message from her husband Ercan Ramadan, who said: 'I just wanted to say how proud we are of you. You are an incredible woman, an inspiration and you did magnificently.'

Pattison, who had previously said she did not think she would get past week one, expressed gratitude for the experience. 'My big takeaway is if anybody puts their mind to something, once they get outside their comfort zone and work hard, amazing things can happen,' she said.
