Reality television favourite Vicky Pattison is taking no chances when it comes to preparing her husband Ercan Ramadan for fatherhood, putting him through what she describes as a rigorous "baby boot camp" ahead of their first child's arrival.
The former I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here! winner and her footballer partner, who tied the knot in a stunning ceremony last year, are eagerly anticipating becoming parents for the first time. But Vicky isn't leaving anything to chance when it comes to getting Ercan ready for diaper duty.
From Football Pitch to Nursery Duty
In an exclusive revelation, the 36-year-old television personality shared how she's been putting her husband through his paces with a comprehensive training programme designed to transform him from professional athlete to super-dad.
"I've created this whole boot camp for Ercan," Vicky confessed during a recent appearance. "He thinks he's prepared, but I want to make sure he's truly ready for those 3 AM feedings and endless nappy changes."
The Ultimate Fatherhood Preparation
The intensive preparation includes everything from mastering the art of swaddling to perfecting bottle-feeding techniques. Vicky, known for her no-nonsense approach, has been overseeing Ercan's progress with the same determination that won her I'm A Celebrity in 2015.
"He's actually been amazing about it," she admitted. "He's embraced every challenge I've thrown at him, even when I wake him up in the middle of the night for 'emergency practice sessions.'"
Strictly Come Dancing Connections
The couple's baby news comes as Vicky continues her involvement with Strictly Come Dancing, though she recently clarified she won't be competing in the main series this year given her pregnancy. Her connection to the show has only added to the excitement surrounding their growing family.
Friends close to the couple say they've never seen Vicky happier, with motherhood being a long-awaited dream for the Geordie Shore alumna. "This is everything she's ever wanted," a source revealed. "She's approaching it with the same passion and organisation she brings to everything in her life."
