Tasha Ghouri Reveals Burnout and Confidence Loss After Andrew Le Page Split
Reality television star Tasha Ghouri has candidly discussed suffering from severe burnout last year, describing it as a 'year of shedding' following her breakup with ex-boyfriend Andrew Le Page. The Strictly Come Dancing contestant, aged 27, and Love Island star Andrew, aged 30, ended their two-year relationship in January of last year, leading to a significant decline in Tasha's mental well-being.
Opening Up on TikTok About Mental Health Struggles
In a new TikTok video, Tasha Ghouri admitted she had 'completely lost all confidence' after the split. She expressed nervousness about sharing her feelings publicly, stating, 'I'm so nervous I don't know why, I used to be so much more confident doing these videos and I've just been so scared of judgement.' However, she emphasized a fresh start, saying, 'But it's 2026 and we are not doing that anymore, it's a new year and I just need to stop overthinking.'
Tasha revealed that her mental health spiraled so drastically post-breakup that she did not want to leave her bedroom. The situation worsened with Andrew accusing her of using the celebrity dating app Raya during their relationship, and Tasha faced horrific abuse from online trolls who blamed her for the romance's demise. She wrote on Instagram about the impact, noting it 'massively impacted my mental health to the point I didn't want to leave my bedroom.'
Finding Happiness with New Boyfriend Cam Whitnall
Despite these challenges, Tasha Ghouri is now in a 'really good place mentally' and happier than ever since finding love with CBBC presenter boyfriend Cam Whitnall last May. She gushed about her new relationship, saying, 'I'm with someone who is so amazing, he's just a great guy and you can all see he is incredible.' Reflecting on last year, she described it as the 'year of the snake,' feeling the 'shedding process,' and now views this as the 'year of the horse,' calling it a 'glow-up year' for Leos.
Tasha explained that burnout is a natural part of life, stating, 'It's ok to hit a wall and it's ok to burnout which is me last year, I just completely lost all confidence.' She encouraged others in similar situations, adding, 'It just means you've been giving a lot for a long time and it doesn't mean you're failing, it just means you need a bit of a break and work on yourself and that is ok.' She concluded with a message of positivity, saying, 'Cheers to more positive and gratitude.'
Bonding Over Shared Interests and Safari Getaway
The couple has bonded over their mutual love for animals, with Cam Whitnall being the managing director of The Big Cat Sanctuary, a non-profit charity that rescues wild cats. Tasha, who rescued her dog Luna from a Spanish charity, found common ground with Cam, leading to a strong connection. A source close to the pair said, 'Tasha and Cam are in the early stages of dating. They have been seeing each other for around a month now and share so much in common, from a personal and professional standpoint.'
Recently, Tasha and Cam enjoyed a lavish safari holiday in Namibia, staying at a deluxe Wilderness Destinations resort. Tasha shared clips from the trip, including safari experiences in the Kwessi Dunes, which she branded 'incredible.' She was seen sporting a zebra-printed bikini while relaxing by a pool in the desert, with wild animals roaming nearby. Tasha expressed her joy, saying, 'It was the best trip I've ever been on, there is no feeling like it. I wish I could live my safari life forever.'
Looking Forward to a Bright Future
After three weeks away, Tasha Ghouri is ready to return to work, feeling optimistic about what lies ahead. She said, 'I have a feeling good things are coming and I'm ready to work hard.' Her journey from burnout to happiness serves as an inspiration, highlighting the importance of self-care and resilience in overcoming personal challenges.
