Stacey Solomon and Joe Swash have been married for three years, and in a new reality series, they are offering an unfiltered look at their relationship. The couple, who share three children together, opened up about the challenges of finding time for intimacy amid their hectic family life.
In a candid moment filmed during a family holiday in Turkey, Joe told Stacey: "I'm just saying we should spend a little bit more adult time together." Stacey, 35, joked that her father could take the kids for 15 minutes that evening before suggesting a fortnightly date night. Responding, Joe, 43, said to the camera: "I think that's manageable. I really fancy Stacey. The problem is I think I fancy her more than she fancies me."
The couple first met on I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here! in 2010 but did not begin dating until six years later. They married in 2022 and have three children together: Rex, five, Rose, three, and Belle, two. Joe also has a teenage son, Harry, from a previous relationship, while Stacey is mother to older sons Zachary and Leighton.
Their new BBC One series, Stacey and Joe, filmed over six months last summer and autumn, follows the duo as they balance busy family and work schedules. The first episode airs on Tuesday, April 1. Stacey said: "2024 was the year me and Joe pushed ourselves out of our comfort zones... We've loved showing a different side to our family's fun and chaos."
