Stacey Solomon is reportedly considering a move from her famous £1.3million Pickle Cottage into an eight-bedroom Victorian mansion with a swimming pool, according to a source. The ITV star and her husband Joe Swash have allegedly fallen in love with a property that offers extensive gardens and enough bedrooms for their blended family of seven children.
Details of the Potential New Home
The potential new home is priced at almost double the value of Pickle Cottage, reflecting its larger size and grounds. A source told The Sun: "They viewed the house and fell in love with it. It's got extra space for the kids. […] It gives Stacey a chance to do more of her amazing DIY work as well. She has a great eye for interiors." The source added: "This house needs a bit of love and work to make it the absolute dream home where they can make new memories."
Stacey and Joe's Family
Stacey is mother to five children: Rex, seven, Rose, four, and Belle, three, with Joe, as well as Zachary, 18, and Leighton, 14, from previous relationships. Joe also has son Harry with his ex-partner Emma Sophocleous. The family currently resides at Pickle Cottage, which features its own swimming pool, 2.5 acres of land, a games room, a mermaid-themed bathroom, and a traditional kitchen with an Aga stove.
Marriage at Pickle Cottage
Stacey and Joe married in the grounds of Pickle Cottage in 2022, 12 years after they first met while filming I'm a Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here! The couple carried out extensive renovations on the property, which Stacey often documented on social media.
Rumours of Split Dismissed
The potential move comes after Stacey and Joe faced rumours of a split. Stacey addressed the speculation on her podcast Sort Your Life Out Unpacked, saying: "Who cares if the whole world is like: 'Oh, they’re on the brink of divorce?' Being in the public eye I think creates certain pressures, but not on our relationship because half the time what they’re saying, 'If we know it’s not true, who cares?'"
