Stacey Solomon has firmly denied divorce rumours, insisting that she and husband Joe Swash are 'just like any other couple' and won't let speculation break them. The Loose Women star addressed the ongoing split claims on her Sort Your Life Out Unpacked podcast, saying: 'Who cares if the whole world is like, “Oh, they’re on the brink of divorce”? If we know it’s not true, who cares?'
Solomon admitted that their relationship has its ups and downs, stating: 'Sometimes I fancy the pants off him and can’t wait to come home to see him. Sometimes I’m like, “Get out of my stratosphere – stay away from me.”' She emphasised that this is normal for any couple, despite the public scrutiny.
However, sources close to the couple revealed that the repeated speculation is taking a toll on Solomon. 'Stacey is fed up with the divorce rumours,' a source told the Mirror. 'All couples have their ups and downs, but they’re having theirs in the spotlight. Stacey is very sensitive and reads all the comments, whereas Joe is laid-back and says, “Don’t worry about it.”'
The source added that the couple is experiencing a 'tough patch' but remains united. 'It’s not been a good year for them, and they’re having a tough patch. They’ve got a young family and there’s a lot of pressure, but they won’t let this break them.' The source also noted that balancing Solomon's booming career with family life has been challenging, as she is the primary breadwinner.
Solomon and Swash first met in 2010 on I'm a Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here!, but didn't begin their relationship until 2016. They married in a private ceremony at their home, Pickle Cottage, in 2022, though they are not yet legally married—a fact Solomon clarified on Instagram in April, stating they would 'get legally married at a later point.'
