Stacey Solomon has addressed how lockdown has affected her relationship with partner Joe Swash, following recent rumours of a split. The 30-year-old television personality appeared on Wednesday's episode of Loose Women, where she spoke candidly about their romance during the pandemic.
Solomon explained that she and Swash make a conscious effort to spend quality time together each week, despite the challenges of lockdown. 'We have to make sure that we try - at least once a week - to spend a couple of hours just us,' she said. 'Get the kids in bed early and just talk to each other because the reality is the rest of the week, we're arguing with each other or moaning at the kids or cooking or cleaning.'
The mother-of-three also revealed that Swash has been making romantic gestures, such as cleaning windows and hoovering the artificial grass, which she described as 'swings and roundabouts' in their household. Her comments came after fans grew concerned that the couple had separated, following Solomon's absence from social media and a cryptic post about 'lots going on at home'.
Earlier this week, Solomon took to Instagram to shut down the split rumours, sharing a photo of her holding Swash's hand. She clarified that 'personal reasons' did not mean divorce, adding that the couple are going from strength to strength.
