Reality star Spencer Pratt has taken his battle with California Governor Gavin Newsom and Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass to Washington, D.C., where he spent three days meeting with top federal officials about the January wildfires that destroyed his Pacific Palisades home and his parents' residence. Pratt, known for his role in 'The Hills,' has been publicly accusing the governor and mayor of mismanagement and negligence through viral TikTok videos since July.
In an exclusive interview, Pratt said, 'I’m literally their worst nightmare because I have nothing to lose, and all I’m ever gonna do is just post actual facts.' He met with Attorney General Pam Bondi, Acting U.S. Attorney Bilal A. 'Bill' Essayli, and officials from the Environmental Protection Agency and the Department of Agriculture, among others. Pratt described his meeting with Bondi as 'incredible,' noting her commitment to investigating the disaster.
Pratt cautioned against viewing his crusade as political, stating that victims across party lines, mainly Democrats, have been sending him questions to present to the administration. 'They do not care who’s sitting in the White House. They just want answers,' he said. He also met with U.S. Secretary of Agriculture Brooke Rollins, whom he called 'an amazing human.'
The trip comes amid an active FBI investigation into criminal wrongdoing related to the fires. Pratt said he discussed concerns about the $100 million FireAid fund, noting that many victims suspect funds are not reaching them. 'That investigation is a real deal type of thing,' he added. Pratt extended his two-day trip by an extra day before returning to Los Angeles on Wednesday night.
Pratt claimed that Newsom should fear what comes next, hinting at undisclosed information. 'Let’s just say all the dots connect why he looked so insanely panicked,' Pratt said, referring to a viral video of a mother confronting Newsom. 'Now I know what that look on his face was about. Now I get what he knew then.'
