Dilly Carter, a star from the BBC's Sort Your Life Out, has opened up about her first meeting with Stacey Solomon, revealing she was taken aback by the presenter's genuine warmth and aura. Speaking on the Sort Your Life Out Unpacked podcast, which she hosts, Dilly shared her emotional recollection of their initial encounter.
Dilly Carter Recalls First Meeting with Stacey Solomon
Dilly explained that the meeting was arranged at a pub in Essex, where she was introduced to Stacey, along with Iwan Carrington and Rob Bent. She said: "When I first met you I thought, 'Oh my God', when we left, it felt like we'd known each other for over 20 years within five minutes." Dilly added: "I think that's the loveliest thing about you, when you're with you, it feels like you've known you forever and you have such a lovely aura about you, and you're just you, and I love it."
Sort Your Life Out Returns for Seventh Series
The podcast appearance comes as filming has wrapped on the seventh series of Sort Your Life Out, five years after its launch in 2021. Stacey Solomon also stars in her own reality series, Stacey & Joe, a fly-on-the-wall BBC documentary about her life with husband Joe Swash and their five children. A third series of Stacey & Joe has been commissioned. In a joint statement, Joe and Stacey said: "If you watched the first series, you'll know we've been talking about the lakes for ages… it feels a bit surreal to finally see it coming to life."
Joe Swash Rumored for Celebrity Race Across the World
Joe Swash is also rumored to appear on Celebrity Race Across the World with his son Harry, 19, from a previous relationship. Stacey Solomon is scheduled to appear on BBC One on July 17 at 8pm in Sort Your Life Out and on Would I Lie to You? at 9pm.
