Sophie Turner has responded to a social media troll who criticised her for enjoying a night out at an Oasis concert, accusing her of 'forgetting' her children. The 29-year-old actress, who shares two daughters with ex-husband Joe Jonas, posted photos of herself at the band's reunion show, wearing a bucket hat and drinking beer.
One user commented: 'Lmfao, I think she has forgotten that she has two kids.' Turner replied: 'Ah I'm so sorry sometimes I forget some people can't think for themselves.' She added: 'So… Get this… There's this crazy thing called shared custody. Maybe, just maybe, they were with their dad that day.'
Hundreds of users praised her response, with one writing: 'Having kids and still being me - that's the dream.' Another said: 'Congrats on being a mom and human, at the same time.' A third posted sarcastically: 'I didn't know life stopped once you procreate.'
Turner finalised her divorce from Jonas last September, after a lengthy custody battle over their daughters Willa, four, and Delphine, two. The couple now co-parent, with Turner previously describing her children as the 'victims' of the divorce. She told British Vogue in May 2024: 'Joe is a great father to our children and that's all that I can ask for.'
Jonas echoed this sentiment last month, saying on a podcast: 'I have a great co-parenting relationship with Turner. My little ones have some incredible women to look up to, including their mom.'
