Shona McGarty, known for playing Whitney Dean on EastEnders, is now dating her former co-star Tony Discipline, who portrayed Tyler Moon on the BBC soap from 2011 to 2013. Tony currently works as a firefighter after leaving the show.

The actress, who departed EastEnders in May 2024 and made a brief cameo earlier this year, has found love with Tony. A source revealed, "They couldn't keep their hands off each other. They were like a pair of giggly teenagers and looked so very much in love." The pair were seen on a romantic date in Covent Garden, and photos have surfaced of their outing.

The couple have been friends for years. According to a source, "While there's always been an attraction there, they were always in relationships.
