Sharon Osbourne offered a glimpse into her family world as she enjoyed time with her grandson, Sidney, during a recent spell of hot weather, just days ahead of the first anniversary of husband Ozzy Osbourne's passing. Ozzy Osbourne passed away suddenly at his Buckinghamshire home, with his family by his side, following a heart attack on the morning of 22 July, 2026. The Black Sabbath legend had been living with Parkinson's disease since his 2005 diagnosis, though he only made this public knowledge in January 2020.
Sharon's Sweet Moment with Grandson Days After Wedding Anniversary
In a recent social media update, Sharon posted a video on Instagram showing her transforming a simple gardening task into an entertaining activity with the energetic youngster. "Sidney's solution to the [heat]," Sharon wrote alongside the footage, which captured her having fun with grandson Sidney. While appearing to tend to her plants with a garden hose, Sharon suddenly spun round to playfully spray the three year old with water, sending him into fits of giggles before he dashed off, encouraging his mother, Kelly, who was filming, to come and play too.
The footage then showed Sidney making his way back towards Sharon, who redirected the hose at the squealing youngster, prompting him to burst into giggles while dashing off once more. But the determined tot wasn't finished, quickly spinning round again to carry on his playful antics with his gran.
Family Background and Anniversary Tribute
Sidney is the child of Sharon's second daughter, Kelly Osbourne, and Slipknot DJ Sid Wilson. He arrived in 2022, several months after the pair began their relationship, despite having been acquainted since 1999. Sid subsequently popped the question to Kelly behind the scenes at her father Ozzy's farewell performance with Black Sabbath at Villa Park in Birmingham on 5 July, 2025. Though by March 2026, reports emerged that the pair had called off their engagement.
On 4 July, Sharon highlighted what would have been her 64th wedding anniversary with her late husband. Taking to Instagram, she posted a touching photograph of their hands together, writing: "Today would have been our 46th wedding anniversary. Instead, it is a celebration of a love that even death could not diminish. I miss your hand in mine, but I carry your love with me every step of the way. Forever my husband. Forever my heart."
