Sharon Osbourne experienced an awkward moment on the red carpet at the 68th Annual Grammy Awards, which was quickly diffused by musician Yungblud. The widow of Ozzy Osbourne was photographed clutching her heels behind her back as her assistant attempted to retrieve them, with Sharon heard saying, 'I'll hold them on my back.'
Yungblud, a friend and mentee of the late Black Sabbath frontman, stepped in to lighten the mood by grabbing the shoes and posing alongside Sharon. The incident occurred at the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles, where Sharon wore an elegant black gown with a diamond collar and Ozzy's signature round spectacles as a tribute.
Earlier in the evening, Yungblud had won the Best Rock Performance award for his cover of 'Changes' and delivered an emotional tribute to Ozzy, who passed away on July 22 at age 76. 'To grow up loving an idol who helps you figure out your identity... but then to get to know them and honor them at their final show... is something I am struggling to comprehend,' Yungblud said.
Sharon was moved to tears by the performance, stating, 'The last time I saw Ozzy Osbourne, he asked me if there was anything he could do for me, and that the music was enough.' Yungblud had performed at Ozzy's final concert, Black Sabbath's Back to the Beginning at Villa Park, just days before his death.
