Sharon Osbourne left with permanent dent after botched surgery

Sharon Osbourne has revealed she has been left with a permanent indentation on her face after a cosmetic procedure went wrong. The 74-year-old, wife of the late rock icon Ozzy Osbourne, has been open about her surgical history and her regrets.

Surgeon's 'special concoction' fails

Speaking with her son Jack on The Osbournes podcast, Sharon said she has a black line along her upper lip and chin following an operation, leaving permanent scarring. Running her finger across her face, she said: 'I have an indentation left from it here, all the way down here.'

She added: 'I think the surgeon left it to his mate to do [it]. I think he took a phone call and then his mate [finished the job].'

She continued: 'You go, and you complain, and you go there. And then he starts injecting, and you go, "What is in this that you're injecting me with?" And he says, "Don't worry, it's my special concoction. It'll work!" And it didn't f****** work.'

Sharon's reaction to the scarring

The reality TV star did not seem overly concerned, simply surmising 'that's what I get.' She said: 'It's not like I earn my living out of my f****** face. I f***** up. It's my choice. That's what I get.'

In 2023, she joked that she looked like a 'cyclops' after having a facelift two years prior. 'That one put me off, and it frightens me,' she told The Sun. 'I really f****** pushed it with the last facelift, and I am now like, no more.'

Previous procedures and pain

In 2022, Sharon told The Sunday Times: 'I had a full facelift done in October, and I looked like one of those f****** mummies that they wrap [with bandages]. It hurt like hell. You have no idea.'

Describing her horror at how she looked afterwards, she explained: 'I'm telling you, it was horrendous. I'm like, "You've got to be f****** joking." One eye was different to the other. I looked like a f****** cyclops. I'm like, "All I need is a hunchback".'

The star revealed the procedure was 'excruciatingly painful', before placing her hands over her face and joking: 'See, I'm holding my nose on so it doesn't fall off.'

Openness about cosmetic surgery

Sharon has always been open about her cosmetic surgery, including another facelift she had in 2019. She revealed at the time: 'He gave me a procedure where I didn't have anaesthetic. You've got tubes coming out your head and these two rubber bowls the blood goes into. You have that for five days, so you look amazing, you look really, really good.'
