Shane Nolan, the 37-year-old son of actor Shane Richie, appeared to joke about his father's recent drink-driving charge while performing on stage with his mother, Coleen Nolan. The comment came during a live audience show at Bush Hall in Shepherd's Bush, just days after the EastEnders star was charged.

Shane Richie, 62, best known for playing Alfie Moon in the BBC soap, was charged with drink driving following an incident at a Tesco petrol station in Harlow, Essex. Footage showed Richie in a dispute with staff, reportedly being told not to vape on the forecourt, during which he was heard swearing.
Essex Police confirmed the charge. A spokesperson said: "Officers were called to reports of a suspected drink driver in the area of Church Langley Way, Harlow, shortly before 11.20pm on Wednesday 29 July. On arrival, officers arrested a man. A charge of drink driving has subsequently been authorised against Shane Roche, 62, of Tadworth, Surrey. He is due to appear at Colchester Magistrates' Court on Wednesday 9 September."
Audience reaction
During Thursday night's show, Shane Jr reportedly told the audience: "The more you drink the funnier I get. Is anyone having a drink tonight? But remember don't drink and drive. Don't do it." The comment reportedly drew mixed reactions, including some heckles and boos.
Responding to the crowd, he added: "What? What? I am driving home... there is lots to talk about. What am I doing after the show? I am taking my eight-month-old baby and my beautiful girlfriend back to Staffordshire. That is what I am doing. I won't be driving. I am drinking tonight." He later continued with light-hearted jokes about both parents.
Shane Richie is due to appear before Colchester Magistrates' Court on September 9.
