Viewers of BBC's Saturday Kitchen were left astounded after top-rated chef Nokx Majozi made her stunning debut on the programme, cooking a Piri-piri braai chicken pie that had fans begging for more. The episode, hosted by Matt Tebbutt, also featured actor Jesse Tyler Ferguson, wine expert Olly Smith, and guest chefs Ben Lipett and Ravinder Bhogal.
Chef Nokx Majozi's Debut Dish
Nokx Majozi, known as Nokx, took to the kitchen to recreate her signature Piri-piri braai chicken pie, a recipe from her upcoming cookbook, The South African Cookbook. Her demonstration left a lasting impression on viewers, who took to X (formerly Twitter) to share their enthusiasm. One viewer wrote: "That pie thing looks amazing." Nokx's Culinary Journey
Originally from South Africa, Nokuthula Majozi studied at Durban University of Technology before launching her career. Her first role was at Durban's four-star Riverside Hotel, where she developed foundational skills. She later relocated to London, working as Demi Chef at the InterContinental London Park Lane for two years, then progressed from Chef de Partie to Senior Chef de Partie at The Landmark London over five years. According to her Instagram, Nokx currently serves as Chef-In-Residence for Fallow restaurant and Roe restaurant.
