Princess Eugenie is preparing to welcome her third child any day now, with the royal and her husband, Jack Brooksbank, excited about the new addition. However, the state of her relationship with her parents, Prince Andrew and Sarah Ferguson, is reportedly weighing on her mind. It was previously reported that Eugenie had cut ties with Andrew, while her current relationship with Sarah remains unclear.
Royal Expert Warns of Heartbreak for Sarah Ferguson
Royal expert Jennie Bond told the Mirror: "We do know that Fergie has been a doting grandmother in the past to her four little grandchildren, and I’m sure she would be heartbroken if she were excluded from this wonderful new episode in Eugenie and Jack’s life." Bond noted that Eugenie now lives much of her life in Portugal, which may influence family dynamics.
Bond also suggested that Eugenie and Jack may release a photo of the newborn, but likely without Andrew or Sarah. "I think the couple will issue a photo of the new arrival in the fullness of time, but I certainly don’t expect to see either Andrew or Sarah included in that photo," she added.
Eugenie's Third Pregnancy Announcement
Eugenie's third pregnancy was revealed in early May, with a statement confirming that King Charles had been informed and was "delighted" by the news. The baby is expected this summer. Eugenie already shares two sons with Brooksbank: August, five, and Ernest, three, who are reportedly "excited" for a new sibling.
The statement read: "His Majesty The King has been informed and is delighted with the news."
