Royal fans have issued a major complaint about Meghan Markle's latest video for her lifestyle brand, As Ever. In the video, the Duchess of Sussex is seen carrying a basket of produce, walking towards the camera smiling, and posing with a cup of tea while wearing white jeans, a blue striped shirt, and a bare face.
However, many fans were unimpressed with her makeup-free appearance. One fan wrote on X: 'For the love of God, woman!! Put the makeup back on. This no-makeup-makeup experiment is a disaster.' Another commented: 'Her problem is she has a masculine face and body. The no-makeup thing only works when your feminine features are delicate but definite.'

A third fan said: 'It's so 1983.' A fourth argued: 'She is wearing make-up. Toned down, but she is wearing.' A fifth added: 'She will continue this look for as long as it is SoCal trendy.' A sixth wrote: 'Meghan, please start wearing eye makeup again. This no eyeshadow, liner, mascara look does you no favours.'
The Duchess has sported a 'no-makeup' look on various occasions over the past two years, including during her surprise appearance at Paris Fashion Week last year.

In her latest newsletter to As Ever customers, Meghan shared tips for setting up the perfect summer table. She wrote: 'The best summer tables are often the simplest. A loaf of crusty bread. Good cheese. Fresh fruit from the market. Something chilled to pour. A collection of little things guests can enjoy at their own pace.' She recommended pairing Raspberry Spread with soft cheeses, Orange Marmalade with aged cheddar, and the Honey Duo with fruit, warm bread, or creamy chèvre.
Upcoming UK Return
Meghan is preparing to return to the UK next month for the first time in four years. She will join Prince Harry for the One Year to Go event for the 2027 Invictus Games in Birmingham. The Sussexes are reportedly bringing their children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, with them.
