Sir Rod Stewart, 80, was filmed being led to his car by three minders after a five-hour drinking session in Krakow, Poland. The legendary rocker appeared unsteady on his feet as he left Ronnie Drew's Irish Bar at 1am, following Arsenal's loss to PSG.
Onlookers reported that Sir Rod was surrounded by fellow Brits and cheered as he departed. A source said: 'Rod might be an octogenarian but he can still party like he’s in his 20s. When he left he had to be steered out by his minders and was stumbling a bit.'
The singer is in Poland as part of his 'One Last Time' tour, which includes a Glastonbury performance next month. He has been joined by his wife, Penny Lancaster, who has been supporting him on the road.
Sir Rod recently revealed that performing at Glastonbury would cost him $300,000 (£236,832) to bring his band from America, but called it 'a great honour' and said he would do it even if it cost $1 million.
