Rochelle Humes' Uncle Paul Ince Stepped Up After Parents' Divorce

Rochelle Humes, best known as a member of The Saturdays and a presenter on This Morning, has a famous relative: football legend Paul Ince. The 33-year-old singer is the niece of the former Manchester United and Liverpool midfielder, who also played for England, West Ham United, Wolverhampton Wanderers, and Middlesbrough during a career spanning from 1982 to 2007.

Since retiring, the 55-year-old from Ilford, London, has remained in the sport as manager of EFL Championship side Reading and as a broadcaster. But beyond his professional achievements, Ince played a crucial role in Humes' upbringing after her parents divorced when she was three.

Humes' husband, Marvin, a former JLS member, revealed that Ince had been "like a dad" to his wife. Marvin said: "I have total respect for him and Rochelle. He's had a quiet word with me. He's a big guy – you wouldn't mess with him."

Ince is married to Claire, a stay-at-home wife, and they have three children: Tom, a professional footballer at Stoke City; Daniel; and Ria, who appeared on Channel 4's Born Famous. The family has remained close, with Ince supporting Humes through life's highs and lows.
