Ray Romano, best known for his role in Everybody Loves Raymond, has become a grandfather. His 35-year-old daughter, actress Alexandra 'Ally' Romano, announced on Instagram that she and her husband Zachary Wilezol welcomed a baby boy named Rex on February 25.
Alexandra shared a photo of the newborn beside a print of his footprints, writing: 'One month with my guy, Rex Roman Wilezol. He (begrudgingly) arrived on 2/25/26 with very long legs, massive hands, a full head of hair and the most perfect lips.' She added that despite a challenging start to parenthood, their 'strong, very big boy' has shown them a new meaning to love.
Fans congratulated the couple, with one commenting: 'He’s beautiful and has the most amazing and loving family!!' Another wrote: 'Perfect cutie Rex we love you and your perfect little lips.' Alexandra and Zachary married at the New York Public Library in September 2024 after three years of dating.
Ray, 68, and his wife Anna Romano, 63, have four children: Alexandra, twins Matthew and Gregory (32), and Joseph (27). In December 2024, Ray joked on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon that he was offering a $100,000 bounty for a grandchild, though he later clarified he was kidding.
