Manchester United forward Marcus Rashford has reportedly rekindled his romance with ex-fiancée Lucia Loi, as she was seen supporting him during his move to Barcelona. The 27-year-old footballer, who joined the La Liga club on a season-long loan, was spotted with Loi at a photoshoot for his unveiling at Camp Nou.
According to reports, Lucia took photographs of Rashford and helped adjust his shirt before he posed alongside a red telephone box for the shoot. The couple, who met as teenagers, have had an on-off relationship over the years, but sources claim they have remained close and grown increasingly intimate recently.
A source told The Sun: 'Marcus knows that some of the best moments in his career have occurred when Lucia has been at his side. They got together when they were very young and have had ups and downs, but a friendship has always remained. He knows that she is good for him and she is one of the few people in the world he knows has got his best interests at heart.'
Rashford and Loi first dated for around eight years before splitting in 2021. They reconciled in 2022, and Rashford proposed in Los Angeles later that year, but the engagement ended in June 2023. Rashford was later linked to Love Island star Grace Jackson, but that relationship fizzled out at the end of 2024.
Rashford's move to Barcelona marks a significant career milestone, as he becomes the first England international to sign for the club since Gary Lineker in 1986. Speaking on Barcelona's YouTube channel, Rashford expressed his excitement, saying: 'I'm very excited. It's a club where people's dreams come true, they win big prizes. What the club stands for means a lot for me. I feel like I'm at home.'
