British music sensation Rag'n'Bone Man has left fans devastated after cancelling his highly anticipated Brighton performance at the last minute due to illness.
The 'Human' hitmaker was scheduled to take the stage at Brighton Centre on Tuesday evening, but organisers announced the cancellation just hours before showtime, citing the artist's poor health.
Fans Express Frustration Over Late Notice
Many concert-goers had already arrived in Brighton when the disappointing news broke, with some taking to social media to voice their frustration about the timing of the announcement.
"We'd already booked hotels and travelled down when we heard," one fan tweeted, while another complained: "Three hours before the gig? Really?"
Promoters Promise Refunds
Event organisers have assured ticket holders they will receive automatic refunds within 14 days. In a statement, they apologised for the inconvenience but emphasised the decision was made due to circumstances beyond their control.
The cancellation comes just weeks after Rag'n'Bone Man, whose real name is Rory Graham, completed a successful European tour. No details have been released about the nature of his illness or whether the Brighton show will be rescheduled.
Recent Success for the Sussex Star
The 38-year-old singer from Uckfield, East Sussex, has enjoyed tremendous success since bursting onto the scene with his multi-platinum debut album in 2017. His soulful voice and powerful lyrics have earned him numerous awards, including two BRIT Awards and an Ivor Novello.
This isn't the first time health issues have affected the artist's schedule. In 2019, he was forced to cancel several shows due to vocal problems.
