Princess Andre reveals panic attack after carjacking

Princess Andre has revealed she suffered a panic attack while filming Celebrity Race Across The World, years after a terrifying carjacking in South Africa left her with lasting anxiety. The 19-year-old, daughter of Peter Andre and Katie Price, also confirmed the launch of her own make-up range, By Princess, this month.

Panic Attack on Race Across The World

Speaking about the 2018 incident, which happened while filming her mum's reality show My Crazy Life, Princess said the attackers were never caught and local police said they were lucky to escape. The experience had a lasting effect on her and her brother Junior, 21.

"I did have some counselling around that time," she said. "Even now there are certain things I avoid. I don't like being alone anywhere, ever, and I don't like driving at night, or getting out of my car at night. And there's something that you'll see on Race Across The World. I had a moment of panic."

She added that counselling has helped, but she prefers to keep her feelings to herself and has learned to cope growing up.

Building Her Own Career

The Princess Diaries star, who has more than a million Instagram followers, said she is determined to make a name for herself despite her famous parents. "It used to be, 'Oh my God, you're Peter Andre and Katie Price's child,'" she said. "Now it's like, 'Oh my God, you're Princess.' It's really nice."

Princess denied rumours she is dating Love Island's Harrison Solomon, saying they are part of the same management and just get on well. She said she is too busy working for a boyfriend at the moment.

Family Bond and New Beauty Brand

She described her relationship with her mum as good now, saying Katie is "a different person" and she is proud of how she is turning her life around. Princess also spoke fondly of her brother Junior, calling him her "best friend", and of her younger sister Arabella, two.

Her beauty brand, By Princess, has taken over two years to build and will launch in Boots stores and on boots.com from 17 November. Every product is priced at £12, is not tested on animals, and is suitable for all skin tones. Princess said she designed the products with a team to enhance natural features rather than change them.

Looking ahead, she wants to get into brand ambassadorship, travel, and possibly music, but said she doesn't have time for a pop career right now. "There are a lot of comparisons, always, but now I'm standing on my own two feet," she said.
