Prince Harry has revealed his full list of occupations, including an unexpected addition, during an appearance on the podcast Joe Marler Will See You Now. The Duke of Sussex joined the former rugby star for a chaotic interview during his recent trip to the UK, where he discussed his roles and promoted the upcoming Invictus Games.
Full Name and Occupations Revealed
Harry told the hosts that his full name is "Henry Albert Charles David, Duke of Sussex" or "H for short." When conversation turned to occupations, he listed: "Full-time dad. British Army veteran. Prince of England. Duke. But for today, I don't know. What do you want?" The group eventually settled on calling him Duke.
Promoting the Invictus Games 2027
The interview also focused on the Invictus Games, which Harry founded in London in 2014. The next Games will be held in Birmingham in 2027. Harry has been in the UK to promote the event and bring together the Invictus community, experts, and policymakers, including UK Minister for Veterans and People Calvin Bailey, to discuss issues faced by service personnel and veterans.
When asked if he would be known as an "inventor," Harry said "founder" would be more appropriate. In a speech during the trip, he emphasized the importance of the Games: "What we've seen today shows us that, if anything, this is just the beginning." He added, "One year from today, the world will come to the great city of Birmingham, for the Invictus Games 2027. To bring the Games back to the UK – 13 years after London 2014 – feels incredibly special for all of us."
Reflections on the Journey
Harry noted that Britain has always understood the importance of service, resilience, and standing together. He recognized familiar faces from the original 2014 journey, joking: "Some of us have got older... some of us have lost our hair." He later participated in a game of wheelchair rugby, one of the most popular sports during the Games.
