The celebrity blogger and former Celebrity Big Brother contestant is believed to have been taken for medical care following a troubling broadcast that left fans deeply worried.
Police Respond to Miami Home
The Miami-Dade Sheriff's Office responded to his residence after the 48-year-old appeared on the livestream seemingly covered in blood while holding a knife. Multiple emergency calls were made by concerned viewers.
Deputies engaged with relatives outside the property. Officials later confirmed Perez had been alone inside before deputies decided to "tactically disengage" while evaluating the situation.
De-escalation Priorities
A representative for the sheriff's office explained: "In many incidents involving a person experiencing a mental health crisis or actively harming themselves, deputies prioritise de-escalation by creating time, distance, and opportunities for communication."
"Unless there is an immediate threat to others, slowing the situation and utilising crisis intervention techniques can reduce the likelihood of a suicide-by-cop encounter and minimise the risk of injury to the individual, deputies, and the public."
Authorities later confirmed Perez had been "safely recovered and transported by Miami-Dade Fire Rescue to a local hospital, where he is receiving medical attention."
Support for Family
The sheriff's department also stated that officers from its Crisis Response Unit and mental health practitioners stayed with Perez's relatives to offer "support and resources."
The livestream has been taken down, and his TikTok profile has reportedly been banned. It remains unknown if anyone else was inside the residence during the broadcast.

Speaking to TMZ, Perez's representative said: "We are aware of the concerning content circulating online involving our client, Perez Hilton. At this time, we have not been able to make direct contact with him, despite our ongoing efforts to reach him. Our primary concern is Perez's health and well-being, as well as his family's well-being. Until we have confirmed information, we will not speculate or comment further. We appreciate everyone's concern and ask that his privacy be respected during this time."
Video from regional news channels showed sheriff's cars outside his residence, with police cordons restricting road access.
