Penny Lancaster's Emotional Tribute to Late Dog Bubbles After New Pets Reveal
Penny Lancaster's emotional tribute to late dog Bubbles

Penny Lancaster, the Loose Women panellist and wife of rock legend Rod Stewart, has shared a deeply emotional tribute to the family's late Cavapoo, Bubbles, who passed away earlier this year.

A Heartfelt Garden Memorial

On Sunday, November 16, the 54-year-old mother-of-two took to her Instagram Story to post a poignant image. The photo showed the family's Labradoodle, Lily, resting quietly beside a memorial cross in their garden. The cross featured a brass plaque and was adorned with a small bunch of flowers placed by Penny herself.

The memorial marks the final resting place of Bubbles, the beloved Cavapoo who died in March after a battle with cancer. The two dogs shared an incredible bond, with Lily providing comfort during Bubbles's illness and remaining loyally by his side in his final moments.

Penny captioned the touching post, "Remembering our beloved Bubbles on our walk today."

New Additions to the Stewart-Lancaster Family

This heartbreaking tribute comes just days after the TV star delighted her 230,000 Instagram followers by introducing three new, long-term members of the family. On Friday, November 14, Penny shared footage that revealed the presence of three Pygmy goats.

The video began with Penny gathering branches from trees in her extensive garden, accompanied by her dogs. It then showed her approaching a tree stump where the brown and white Pygmy goats, named Hazel, Robert, and Biscuit, were eagerly waiting for their snacks.

Penny, who has been married to Rod Stewart since 2007, looked absolutely delighted as she showed off the goats' plush new home, which was decorated with fairy lights and featured wooden climbing structures.

In a detailed post, the former model explained, "Making the most of the sunshine today, I reached out to nature to feed my soul as well as our Pygmy goats, Hazel, Robert, and Biscuit. They joined us during the second phase of lockdown when I was able to spend a lot more time with them."

She added that the goats have wonderful sleeping accommodations and climbing structures to keep them comfortable and entertained. Aside from their regular goat feed, they enjoy treats of non-evergreen foliage from the garden.

A Blended Family of People and Pets

The Stewart-Lancaster household is now a vibrant and bustling home. Together, Penny and Rod have two children, and Rod has six other children from previous relationships. Their family also includes three dogs and the three Pygmy goats, creating a lively and loving environment.

This blend of joyful new introductions and heartfelt remembrance paints a picture of a family navigating the cycles of life and loss with grace and love, all while sharing their journey with their devoted fans.
