Olympic champion Adam Peaty and model Holly Ramsay have officially become husband and wife in a spectacular winter ceremony at Bath Abbey. The glamorous event, one of the season's most anticipated celebrity weddings, saw the couple exchange vows before a star-studded congregation in the historic Cotswolds city.
A Glamorous Ceremony and A-List Guests
The couple, who first met in 2021 through Holly's sister Tilly during Strictly Come Dancing, said their 'I dos' at the iconic Bath Abbey on 27 December 2025. Guests began arriving from 11am, entering through doors adorned with hundreds of white roses. The abbey, which can hold up to 1,200 people, provided a grand backdrop for the sophisticated celebration.
Following the service, an exclusive reception was held at the luxurious Kin House country estate. The guest list was reportedly filled with famous faces, including David and Victoria Beckham, alongside the bride's father, celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay. Romeo Beckham hinted at his attendance by posting a picture of himself in a black bow tie ahead of the event.
Luxury Gifts for Their Kegworth Home
Friends and family looking for the perfect present were directed to a wedding gift list featuring several high-end items. At the top of the list was a Big Green Egg barbecue costing £1,896. Other lavish requests included a mahogany table for £995, an £800 cream recliner chair, and a £350 Japandi-style rattan baby chest changer.
Many of these gifts are destined for the couple's stylish home in Kegworth, with a focus on pieces from premium brands like Nkuku. While the list leaned towards luxury, it did include some more accessible options, such as a £42 photo frame and a £130 rattan log basket.
Family Rift Overshadows Celebrations
The joyous occasion has been clouded by reports of a significant family rift on the groom's side. It is understood that Adam Peaty's sister, Bethany, is the only member of his immediate family attending the wedding, with both of his parents being uninvited.
Tensions are said to have begun when Adam's mother, Caroline Peaty, was excluded from Holly's hen do, despite the bride's family being included in the groom's stag celebrations. The situation escalated when Caroline reportedly wanted to wear a cream dress to the wedding. Adam, wanting to reserve pale colours for the bride, offered her four alternative outfit choices, which allegedly caused further upset.
Matters reached a critical point when Adam reportedly received threatening messages from his brother, James, while on his stag do. Police were involved, and James was arrested on suspicion of harassment. He was questioned for two days before being released on conditional bail.
Despite the family difficulties, Adam marked his wedding morning by sharing a serene photo of the Cotswolds at sunrise on social media, captioned simply: “Morning of our wedding,” with a white heart emoji.
