Olympic swimming champion Adam Peaty and model Holly Ramsay have tied the knot in a lavish ceremony at the historic Bath Abbey, surrounded by a host of famous faces including Sir David and Lady Victoria Beckham.
A Glamorous Arrival in Somerset
The wedding of the six-time Olympic medallist and the daughter of chef Gordon Ramsay took place on Saturday 27th December 2025. Adam Peaty, who will celebrate his 31st birthday on Sunday, was pictured looking sharp in a classic tuxedo as he walked towards the Abbey with his groomsmen.
Adding a significant dose of star power to the Somerset event, former England footballer Sir David Beckham arrived with his wife, fashion designer Victoria Beckham. The couple were accompanied by their three youngest children: Cruz, Romeo, and Harper, all dressed in glamorous attire for the winter wedding.
Celebrity Guests and a Father's Pride
The guest list extended beyond the Beckhams, featuring other well-known personalities from British television and business. MasterChef: The Professionals judge Marcus Wareing and Dragons' Den star Sara Davies were also spotted arriving for the celebration.
In a heartfelt social media tribute, the bride's father, Gordon Ramsay, expressed his immense pride. He posted on Instagram: "I'm truly so lucky being able to walk this beautiful bride down the aisle and gaining an incredible son in law @adam_peaty! I love you so much @hollyramsayy and couldn't be a prouder Dad xxx."
From Strictly Romance to Wedding Bells
The couple's journey to the altar began after they met through Holly's sister, Tilly Ramsay. Both Adam and Tilly were contestants on the popular BBC show Strictly Come Dancing in 2021, which is where the connection was first made.
Holly Ramsay, aged 25, announced their engagement on September 12th, 2024, sharing an Instagram post that read: "I am marrying my best friend. I truly cannot put into words how I am feeling right now." Peaty echoed the sentiment in his own post, writing: "I can't believe you're going to be my wife. I'm truly the luckiest man on earth to have such a gentle, caring and beautiful woman by my side."
On the morning of the wedding, Peaty shared a hopeful snapshot on his Instagram story, showing the sun rising with the simple caption: "Morning of our wedding." Preparations at the Abbey were visible earlier in the day, with foliage being arranged around the iconic West Front door.
The Staffordshire-born swimmer was previously in a relationship with Eirianedd Munro, with whom he has a five-year-old son.
