Patrick Schwarzenegger Marries Model Abby Champion in Idaho Wedding

Patrick Schwarzenegger, the 32-year-old son of Arnold Schwarzenegger and Maria Shriver, has married model Abby Champion in a three-day celebration in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho. The couple, who met in 2015 while studying at the University of Southern California, exchanged vows on September 6 in an intimate ceremony officiated by Abby's father, Greg Champion. The event included a Western-themed barbecue and a lavish rehearsal dinner, with guests including Patrick's 'White Lotus' co-stars Jason Isaacs and Sarah Catherine Hook.

Patrick, who recently starred as Saxon Ratcliffe in the third season of HBO's 'The White Lotus', has spoken about drawing on his own life experiences for the role. 'This character had a very successful family, a very successful father. He worked under his father; he was always trying to make a name for himself,' he told Vanity Fair. Patrick's acting career began with a role in 'The Benchwarmers' in 2006, and he has since appeared in 'Midnight Sun', 'Grown Ups 2', 'Scream Queens', and 'Gen V'.

Patrick comes from a famous political and Hollywood dynasty. His mother, Maria Shriver, is a niece of former President John F. Kennedy, making him a relative of Robert F. Kennedy Jr. and Jack Schlossberg. His father, Arnold Schwarzenegger, is a legendary actor and former Governor of California. Patrick has three siblings: Katherine, Christina, and Christopher. He has said he learned from the Kennedy side of his family, telling Inquirer.net in 2018: 'I use certain components of it that can help make me a better person.'

Before meeting Abby, Patrick had a rumoured fling with Taylor Swift in 2012 and a five-month relationship with Miley Cyrus in 2014. He proposed to Abby in 2023 after eight years of dating. 'Over the course of the years, I just continuously fell in love with her more and more,' he told People. 'We've grown a lot together and it's been kind of fun to climb that journey as one.'
