Pamela Anderson has revealed an unexpected moment from the set of the 1994 comedy classic 'The Naked Gun 33⅓: The Final Insult', where her co-star Liam Neeson left her stunned with an impromptu passionate kiss.
In a recent interview, the Baywatch icon shared that the kiss, which appeared natural on screen, was entirely unscripted. "It was a real surprise," Anderson admitted. "Liam just went for it, and I thought, 'Well, this is happening!'"
The scene, which became one of the film's most memorable moments, showcased Neeson's improvisational skills. Anderson praised his professionalism but admitted she wasn't prepared for the intensity of the moment.
A Hollywood Moment
Anderson, who played femme fatale Tanya Peters in the third installment of the Naked Gun series, recalled how the spontaneous kiss added an extra layer of authenticity to their on-screen chemistry.
"Sometimes the best moments in film are the unplanned ones," she reflected. "Liam has this incredible presence, and it just worked."
Despite the surprise, Anderson holds no grudges, calling Neeson a "true gentleman" and a "brilliant actor." The film, a parody of detective movies, remains a cult favourite, with fans still quoting its iconic lines decades later.
Behind the Scenes Secrets
Anderson also shared other fun anecdotes from filming, including the challenges of keeping a straight face during the movie's absurd humour. "It was hard not to laugh—Leslie Nielsen was a genius," she said, referring to the late actor who played the bumbling Detective Frank Drebin.
While the kiss with Neeson wasn't in the script, Anderson believes it added to the film's charm. "That’s the magic of movies—sometimes the unexpected makes it even better."
