Gwyneth Paltrow Blames 'Privilege' for Failed Romance with Brad Pitt

Gwyneth Paltrow has opened up about her failed romance with Brad Pitt, admitting that her own privilege and immaturity contributed to the split. In a candid interview on the Girlboss Radio podcast, the 44-year-old actress confessed to having 'expletive up' many relationships, including her high-profile engagement to Pitt.

Paltrow and Pitt dated from 1994 to 1997 after meeting on the set of the film 'Se7en'. Pitt proposed in 1996 while filming 'Seven Years in Tibet' in Argentina, but the couple called off the engagement the following year. Reflecting on the relationship, Paltrow said, 'I honestly do think I was too young and I didn't know what I was doing.'

The actress also acknowledged the role of privilege in her romantic failures, stating that it took her until age 40 to 'get my head out of my a**'. Following her split from Pitt, Paltrow had a high-profile romance with Ben Affleck before marrying Coldplay's Chris Martin in 2003. The couple, who have two children, separated in 2014. Paltrow is now dating Brad Falchuk, co-creator of the TV series 'Glee'.
