Paige Chohan Pregnant with Miracle Baby After Fertility Struggles

Real Housewives of Cheshire star Paige Chohan is expecting her second child, a baby she describes as a 'massive miracle' after initially struggling to conceive. The businesswoman, 34, revealed the news exclusively to the Mirror, saying she and her husband Amir are 'over the moon' after a turbulent year that included a delayed and over-budget home renovation.

Falling Pregnant Naturally After Consultations

Paige and Amir had been trying for a second child and had begun exploring other options, including consultations. But before any medical intervention, Paige fell pregnant naturally. 'It's a massive miracle for us,' she said. 'We are over the moon, it's the best news we could have, especially after such a turbulent year that we've had as a couple.'

The couple's home renovation in Cheshire was delayed by a year and went over budget by £500,000, forcing them to live in a Manchester City Centre apartment. Paige admitted the last 12 months had been 'crazy' for the family, but the pregnancy has brought a positive end to the stress.

First Trimester Challenges

While overjoyed, Paige said her first trimester 'wasn't the easiest,' describing herself as a 'zombie' due to exhaustion. 'This time around, I've just been in bed, I've not been able to move out of bed, I've had every symptom – exhaustion is just through the roof,' she explained. 'They do say every pregnancy is different. For me, it's just about taking every day at a time.'

A Picnic Surprise for Amir

Paige discovered she was pregnant after a missed period but chose to wait for the right moment to tell Amir. She planned a family picnic in the park with their daughter Nora, two, and their dog. 'We had a little moment, we were in the park, nice picnic, and I took Nora and our dog, and I just shared the news on my Summer's Day,' she recalled. 'This time it was a really lovely memory that we can cherish.'

Both Paige and Amir had tears in their eyes. 'I couldn't stop crying,' she said. 'It was a lovely moment for us, it's the best news for both of us.'

Nora Ready to Be a Big Sister

Paige has already told Nora about the baby, saying she points to Paige's stomach and says 'baby.' Nora, who dotes on her cousins, often gives toys to her nine-month-old cousin to calm him down. 'She's only two and a half, so she doesn't really understand fully, but she does say 'baby' and I say 'stomach',' Paige explained. 'I think she's going to be a great older sister.'

House Renovations and Moving Back

The family is two weeks away from moving back into their Cheshire home, which Paige calls 'perfect timing.' She said, 'Getting back in the house, we're literally two weeks off, I've just passed my first trimester, and I just think these next six months are just to settle in and build up to having another child is what we really wanted. It's a nice end to such a crazy, turbulent year.'

Gender Reveal Plans

Paige and Amir plan to find out the sex of their baby and may do a gender reveal, though perhaps more intimate than the 'massive one' they did for Nora on the show. 'We're happy with the fact I fell pregnant, and we're pregnant as a family, it's the best blessing,' she said. 'So for us, whatever gender we're blessed with, we'll be happy.'

Pregnancy During Heatwaves

Being pregnant during recent heatwaves has been challenging, especially while living in a city apartment without a garden. 'Your body temperature is through the roof. As much as I love the sun, love the 30 degrees, being pregnant is not fun,' Paige said. Still, she is excited to return to Cheshire and start the next chapter in their newly renovated home.
