Olly Murs has been keeping active during quarantine by following a home workout routine designed by his personal trainer, Rob Solly. The singer, who underwent knee surgery earlier this year, has been sharing clips of his fitness sessions on social media, including a video filmed for Men's Health.
“Right now, we can't get to the gym,” Murs says in the video. “But we can still train. We can still do it at home.” The former X Factor star has been posting entertaining and impressive workouts with his girlfriend, Amelia Tank.
Personal trainer Rob Solly, who has worked with Murs for five years, created the routine. It focuses on four key components: muscle mass, explosive power, mobility, and reaction. The workout uses minibands and a partner, with mostly bodyweight exercises designed to be fun and effective.
Murs’ dedication to staying fit comes after a challenging period following his knee surgery, but he is now making the most of his home gym setup to maintain his physical transformation.
