Olivia Attwood has candidly discussed her "brutal" break-up from Bradley Dack, revealing the exact moment she realised she could not remain in the marriage. The former Love Island star, 35, who married the footballer in 2023, separated from him earlier this year.
Discovery of Infidelity
Attwood, now a successful presenter, claimed that a woman approached her at an event and told her Bradley had been unfaithful, having "gone back with a random girl" one night. This prompted the Loose Women panellist to end the relationship for good.
She explained: "When you love someone, you're happy to live in the grey area. But that day, everything suddenly lined up. There was nowhere left for him to hide."
Emotional Aftermath
Describing the split as "f***ing brutal," Attwood told Cosmopolitan: "Actually pulling the rug [from under our feet] and sticking to it is the hardest thing. It's very easy for people to sit on their high horse and go, 'Oh my God, you stayed with someone that cheated.' But it's way more complex than that."
She added: "As soon as I knew it had happened to me, I couldn't stay. The only person I would be cheating is myself. What happened didn't break my heart - I broke my own heart by leaving, because the easiest thing to do would've been to stay."
Public Statement
In March, Attwood shared a post announcing the break-up, writing: "I was in love with him and the potential I saw in him and wanted always to help him try to be the best version of himself - as I did for 10 years - covering up. Lying to my family and friends. Arranging therapy. Believing the grovelling apologies."
She continued: "I of course now feel like a f****** idiot. (Especially as more things come to the surface) I never wanted to say any of this.. I find the whole situation utterly humiliating." She also noted: "But some of the disgusting things written about me in the last few weeks just blow my mind - and of course sadly it's always fellow females doing the writing."
Recent Developments
Towards the end of last year, Bradley seemingly reached out to Olivia by posting an old video of The Royston Club performing their song 'Cariad', which includes lyrics about pining for a lost love.
Meanwhile, Attwood has since gone public with her relationship with TOWIE star Pete Wicks. The 37-year-old spoke about the "hard launch" of their romance on social media, saying on his Staying Relevant podcast: "The thought process was, 'What would Liv like?' We'd spoken about it and I thought, 'Ah f**k it', you know. Let's go and do it. Obviously the first photo had to be of me and Liv, and all I really cared about was that I didn't embarrass her."
