Olivia Attwood has described her new boyfriend Pete Wicks as a "rare person" and their relationship as "the easiest thing I've ever done", weeks after they made their romance public on Instagram.

In July, Pete, known for his time on The Only Way Is Essex (Towie), shared a series of loved-up photos from Ibiza, officially confirming their relationship. The post, captioned "I guess someone has to go first…IBIZA [black heart emoji]", showed the pair lying together on a yacht and Pete kissing Olivia's head as she rested in his lap.

What Olivia Says About Their Romance

Speaking to Cosmopolitan magazine, the 35-year-old former Love Island star said: "It's the easiest thing I've ever done. We're both in this era where we just want peace and to enjoy life." She added, "Personality wise, I've never had a straight man who can go toe-to-toe with me on banter – he is the only one who can keep up. We tick a lot of the boxes that are really important in adult relationships. Pete's a very rare person. He's very emotionally intelligent. It's quite remarkable."

The couple co-host Kiss radio show The Sunday Roast, and rumours of a romance had swirled since images of them together surfaced earlier this year. Speculation intensified after Olivia confirmed her split from footballer Bradley Dack, with whom she had a turbulent on-off relationship for over a decade.

Olivia revealed: "Once he knew I was separated, he made his feelings known, and it all happened quite quickly. Our friendship group is nauseated by us – we're one PDA away from being exiled. I'm like, 'Who are we?' We're bringing out a (new) side of each other."

She noted that the pair "always got on so well" through years of friendship and "bickered like brother and sister". Reflecting on her marriage to Bradley, which was documented in ITV2 series Olivia Marries Her Match in 2023, she said: "We had a really good relationship. When we found each other again, we healed each other in lots of ways. We made happy memories."
